BromMax 7.1 - Concentrated Liquid Bromine Biocide

BromMax 7.1 is a patented single-feed stabilized liquid bromine biocide based on active ingredients of sodium bromide and sodium hypochlorite. BromMax 7.1 has the following features and benefits:

BIOBROM C-103®L - Concentrated Liquid Bromine Biocide

BIOBROM C-103®L is a 20% active proprietary end use formulation of DBNPA. It is used to control microbial, fungal and algal growth in industrial water systems such as cooling towers, evaporative condensers, pulp and papermill effluents, oil-recovery systems, metal-cutting coolants, air-conditioning systems (effective against Legionella). In the US, it is also approved for use in industrial preservation applications, and in disinfection of POTW (Publicly Owned Treatment Works) effluents.


SM-50P/SM-215P - Glutaraldehyde

SM-50P is a microbiocide based on Glutaraldehyde. It is useful for the control of microorganisms in recirculating cooling towers, air washer systems, recirculating process water, oil field applications, pulp and paper mill applications, preservatives for slurries and pigments, closed loop cooling systems and a number of other applications. It helps to remove biofilm and is very broad spectrum. Other features include:

  • Effective against anaerobic and aerobic bacteria
  • Effective against algae and algal desposits
  • Fast acting, with preservative properties
  • Odorless and non-corrosive to metals at use levels
  • Can be tested for using a test kit to determine system concentrations

SM-15P - Isothiazoline

A combination of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-iothiazolin-3-one. SM-15P is a broad spectrum anti-microbial/slimicide product designed specifically for the control of bacterial and fungal slime in pulp and paper mill systems. Advantages of SM-15P include:

  1. Broad spectrum control of micro-organism in paper mill systems.
  2. Easy handling in liquid form.
  3. Effectiveness at low concentrations.
  4. Resistance to the inhibitory effect of organic and inorganic compounds.

SM-15P is not recommended for use in potable water systems or where contamination of potable water can occur.
