MCT 4106 Orthophosphate Corrosion Inhibitor
Application:
MCT 4106 is an orthophosphate corrosion inhibitor that is designed to reduce lead and copper residuals in potable systems. Orthophosphates enhance corrosion reduction by forming a strong, adherent film on metal surfaces which acts as a barrier to corrosion activity.
MCT 4106 is composed of ingredients that are accepted by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in potable water supplies. MCT 4106 is approved for maximum use to 13 mg/L in the system. Also, the raw materials are recognized as safe (GRAS) according to the provisions in the Code of Federal Register, Section 182, Title 21.
Advantages:
- Orthophosphate
- No Zinc Added to System
- Easy to Feed and Handle
- Extends Life of System Piping
- Red Water Reduction from System Corrosion
- Reduces Lead and Copper Corrosion
Dosage:
Feed MCT 4106 directly to clear well, after filters, or activate with well pump operation to feed proportional to water flow. Dosage rates are based on system conditions and desired finished water quality. Your Mid South Chemical technical representative will assist you in implementing this program so that maximum results can be achieved.
