RO 1302 Industrial Membrane Treatment
RO 1302 is a heavy duty antiscalant/antifoulant treatment product for Reverse Osmosis membrane surfaces. It is composed of ingredients that prevent the formation of inorganic scales by effectively increasing the solubility of inorganic salts and by chelation. Many of these constituents include hardness scales and other inorganic contaminants such as barium, copper, iron, and strontium. RO 1302 also controls insoluble particles, such as iron, and disperses these materials for removal through the reject water. RO 1302 is stable over a broad pH range and in high temperature environments.
Advantages
- Thermally Stable
- Low Dosage
- Prevents Membrane Fouling
- Excellent Iron & Scale Dispersant
- Polymeric Dispersant for Cleaning Action
- Eliminates or Reduces Particulate Fouling
- Compatible with Chlorine at use Dosages
- Controls CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, SrSO4, and CaF2
Product Application
The feed dosage of RO 1302 is based on the availability of a reliable feedwater analysis and details of operating conditions. However, it is common to use low feed dosages to maintain scale forming minerals in suspension or solution. Generally, a dosage of 2-6 ppm product in the feedwater is sufficient for good control.
