MCT 4120 Potable Water Stabilization
MCT 4120 is a polyphosphate product that is designed for use in potable water systems. The multi-functional activity of MCT 4120 provides control of scale and deposits that are produced from calcium, magnesium, and iron. The sequestering activity of this product controls red and black water often associated with potable water systems. Corrosion protection is also maintained. MCT 4120 is a cationic inhibitor that produces a durable microscopic film on metal surfaces.
MCT 4120 is composed of ingredients that are accepted by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in potable water supplies. MCT 4120 is approved for maximum use to 28 mg/L in the system.
Benefits Of Using MCT 4120:
- Corrosion Control
- Eliminates Red and Black Water
- Safe, Non-toxic
- Deposit Control
- Eliminates Water Scale and Liming
- Convenient Liquid
MCT 4120 should be fed to the system proportional to water flow. An initial starting dosage of approximately 2.5 – 3.5 gallons MCT 4120 per million gallons of system water is recommended. Typical dosage residuals range from 1 – 4 ppm phosphate by the polyphosphate test procedure. Increase or decrease dosage depending on severity of system conditions.
|Specific Gravity||1.3 – 1.4|
|pH||5.2 – 5.5|
