RO Membrane Treatments
RO 1300 Multi-functional R.O. Antifoulant
RO 1300 is an effective multi-purpose antifoulant that functions to maintain reverse osmosis membranes clean and free of deposit materials. RO 1300 works as a dual function additive in that it prevents the formation of inorganic scale by effectively increasing the solubility of inorganic salts. It also prevents iron fouling of the membranes by holding soluble iron in solution and dispersing insoluble iron. RO 1300 greatly improves membrane efficiency and reduces the potential for damage.
Advantages
- Prevents Membrane Fouling
- Minimizes Need to Clean System
- Effective against silica fouling
- Single Product Application
- Excellent Iron and Scale Dispersant
- Low Dosage
Product Application
RO 1300 has been designed to meet the needs of the municipal industry. It is compatible with all polyamide RO and NF membrane types. RO 1300 is a very concentrated membrane cleaner product and therefore the recommended dosage is very low at 2-6 ppm product in the feed water. At this dosage range, it is capable of inhibiting scale in high brine LSI conditions up to +2.5 reading while stabilizing other fouling species. RO 1300 is NSF certified to maximum use of 11 mg/L in the system.
